Springtime Fun!

Since there are so many pictures that I would like to share of our spring time fun activities/visits, I thought that I would just do a post with a TON of pics!  For those on Facebook or that get the Snapfish links, you know that Jeff and I try to take a lot of pics throughout the months and I think that we have done a pretty good job of documenting Cash's first year.  Although, don't ask me about his scrapbook...I haven't even started on month 1!  I guess that I need to get my butt in gear and take a few weekends and get updated on that too!  So, here are some pictures of how we have spent the last few months...

Here are Cash and Daddy getting ready for a wagon ride...Cash really seems to like taking rides around the cul del sac

Hey momma, you wanna come too???

Holding on tight!

Checking out the yucky Florida grass...this is one thing that I can say I miss about Michigan...the grass down here is more like weeds and is not very soft at all.  But as you can see, Cash really doesn't seem to mind it at all.

OF COURSE, he has to take a taste!

In February, Uncle Steve and Aunt Meribeth came to visit.  Cash LOVED having a couple extra people to play with and I don't think that Steve and Meribeth minded the sloppy kisses they got from their nephew either!

Here is Cash playing Peek a Boo...he "hides" with the pillows and then pops up to find us...pretty darn funny

This is how Cash wakes up in the morning and after naps...he is smiling 99% of the time!

Since Cash has 8 teeth, he has been putting them to good use.  Here he is eating carrots...yes, raw carrots!  He loves them!

Good thing we have an awesome Farmer's Market we got to every weekend downtown. We are able to stock up on great fruits and veggies for the week at a great price and now, we have another person helping to eat them up!

And as you can see, Cash is pretty lazy about feeding himself!

Here is Cash in his momma's high chair!  My mom, Sue, drove down with her friend, Sandy, in February and brought this along with her for Cash to use.

Here is Grandma Sue with her little Romeo

At the end of March, Papa David and Grandma Sandy came to visit for a week.  Cash loved having more company and Jeff and I went on our first date since Cash was born...and we only called to check in once!  Here are three generations of Porcaro men

Well, you can take us out of Michigan, but you CANNOT take Michigan out of us!  Jeff and I continue to support our Detroit teams and proudly wear our Detroit gear!  Here is Cash on Tiger's Opening Day...he is wearing a Tigers outfit and a bib that says "Little Detroit Tigers Fan"

Easter Morning...Did the Easter bunny come????

Here is Cash with his first Easter basket...no egg dying/finding or candy this year, but he did get a bucket full of goodies

Here he is sporting his new sunhat and playing with some new toys

When Papa David and Grandma Sandy were in town, we went to the beach.  Cash really seemed to like the sand and shells...

And he kept his hat on too!

Putting shells in the bucket...

And pulling them out!  While we only spent a few hours enjoying the sun and sand, we think Cash had a pretty good first time at the beach!

In March, Jeff and I took Cash to his first baseball game.  Charlotte County is the home of the Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training facility and we went to see the Rays/Tigers game.  Cash really enjoyed getting down in the REAL grass and watching some baseball with his daddy.

So as you can see, we have had a lot of fun the past few months.  I apologize for not updating and putting more posts up the last few months, but Cash is keeping us busy and while I am a stay at home mom, any of you who have carried that job title know that there isn't a whole lot of time at the end of the day...and if there is, you usually aren't up long enough to use it!  I hope that you have enjoyed the latest pictures.  If any of you are interested in being included in the Snapfish monthly pictures, just let me know by emailing me or posting a comment on the blog.  I can't believe that I will be posting Cash's first birthday pictures on here in two weeks. Our little boy is growing up so fast!  We hope that this blog makes our friends and family that are miles away feel like they are right down the block or around the corner.  We love you all so much!
