Hey guys...I know that everyone is busy with their everyday lives and things going on, but please remember to take a minute and leave Jeff a message here or write him an email. It may only take a few minutes of your time, but it means the world to Jeff. He is half a world away, not enjoying the everyday luxuries that we are. So PLEASE, leave him a message or send him an email. It means more than you know. Mail is also good too...it's like Christmas morning when the guys get mail. Remember those fighting for your freedoms so you don't have to.

Hi Jeff:
Just a quick note to say hello and let you know I'm thinking of you - I was away from the computer for a week so this is my first chance to send a msg;as you know, Jennifer, Jim and Eric and Jacob are now officially "Hoosiers"! Well, Jim might disagree with that statement (being a die-hard Wolverine) but at least they are now living in Indiana. Their house is really great and I know you'll love it too when you see it. The actual "move" itself did NOT go off without some "snags" - I only regret that you couldn't hear a play-by-play from Steven and Jim's themselves ! There is no way I could begin to recap it all ; trust that it was one for the books ! You sides will hurt when you hear the full story from them. Let me just say that it was a good thing they had a fire extinguisher to use - TWICE !!!! The smell of burning rubber (yes, tires) still lingers in their memories and noses, I think. Jennifer and I got a call from them Friday night, after they had been on the road for (Wow !)one FULL HOUR, telling us they had to have the truck towed back to the Budget lot in Livonia; it gets better, since they got off the freeway and pulled into a parking area of a small building - oops, someone actually lived right there ! Oh, I can't do the story justice and tell it the right way -besides, they may have already given a recap on Facebook. If not, ask them yourself and you (and all the guys there with you) will have a good laugh!
Anyway, I came home late Thursday night to be here for George's funeral service yesterday - such a sad thing to have happen. You mom is doing as well as can be expected - Dave and LeLynda have been wonderful Jeff. I think they will all be OK in time and they have resources to utilize to get thru this. Anyway, we all knew you were with them in spirit... just as we are with you every day, Honey. I will be sending you a box of goodies in the next week or so - sounds like Dannys's did a great job for all of you there, huh ? They really are good people, for sure. Take care, stay safe and strong and know my love and prayers are with you every day.
Love,
"Other Mother" Sue
Hi: let me try this again. Wow, those people at Danny's are really great. I look forward to visiting FL when you get home and we can go to Dannys and say hi to everyone.
I'll bet Sue and I could make a nice contribution to their bottom line. We've been practicing!!
Just so you know our weather today is as close to your's as I would like to get almost 100 with the humidity. I don't know how you guys manage it.
Take care of yourself and we'll see you soon.
Luv
Sandy Dalton
Thanks "Mom" and Sandy for stopping by and saying hello. Sounds like the boys had a hell of a time moving. I am sure Steve is glad we didnt have those problems when he helped us move. Cant wait to hear all about it. I will give you a call here in the next few days..well I might actually have to wait till the weekend, since I am eight and a half hours ahead. I will plan on giving you a call on saturday. Cant wait for the goodie box, cant really thing of anything in particular I want or need. You always have been good in the snacks and goodies department, so I am sure you wont let me down.
Sandy, we would love to have you guys down when I get back, Sue can tell you how much we love Danny's. There are really a great bunch of people there. And the good thing about the weather here is that we dont have any humidity, thank god. It would be absolutely miserable if we did. It still gets pretty warm, mid to hight 90's were we are. And its a lot warmer south of us 115-120 pretty regular. Glad I am not down there.
Thanks again for your posts.
Love Jeff
Hey Jeff:
I just wanted to let you know that I sent a package to you today - let's see how long it takes to arrive (?)... feel free to share anything in it that you care to but I think most of it you will want to keep for yourself (specifically the Little Debbie Apple Flips!). I have some more stuff I will keep adding to until I get enough to send another box. I hope things are going Ok for you, Honey .... you've been on my mind a lot. Sandy's comment about us coming to Florida once you get home is a great idea - I KNOW we will ALL have fun and I think Lisa and Steve will get see why we always have fun together ! Anyway, I also wanted to tell you that I will LOVE it if you can call me soon but this Saturday I won't be home because I am going to a wedding - how about that, I actually have something to do on a weekend ! Hey, maybe the old girl will really have some fun (depends on what they have to drink!).(Maybe I should wear my "coat of many colors" ! ) Actually, it will be with the a lot of the Hoerle family; Sharon and Jim and the Trenton Crew ; I think you remember Daryl & Dan; their middle son (Jordan) is getting married and it should be fun. Aunt Ann and Chuck are going and, since it's in Port Huron, we got a couple hotel rooms so we don't have to drive home. So, there's a pretty good chance I might have a few drinks (maybe!). Anyway, I won't be home Saturday so let me know when you can call another time - sorry - I can't wait to hear your voice; I will save a few "updates" for the phone call; maybe I'll have a story about the wedding. You take care and know I'm thinking of you...Stay Safe, Stay Strong.... Love and Prayers Always with you -
"Other Mother" Sue
Hi Guys - I hope you both are well!! I just wanted to give you an update on Saber - we only have a few weeks left with him. The kidney thing was just to far gone to fix. He was doing ok for awhile - but his numbers are just not getting better. Of course, we are both devasted, but your Dad especially. I'm sure if he heard from you it would make him feel alittle better - not just for Saber, but to know you are doing ok and are safe. I love reading your blog and try to keep up with it often and pass it on to your Dad. We both love the pictures and the stories!!! Keep up the great job. Nothing much else going on here - still taking care of Earl and Mom - both are doing good (onory as hell (excuse the spelling). We will keep in touch. We love you both so very much. Stay safe.
Love
Dad and Mom Sandy
Hey Sandy, Sorry to hear about Saber. That is such a shame, I will give Dad a call either tody or tomorrow. Everything is going good here, time seems to be going by pretty fast. Even when we are not doing anything, so that is a good thing, I just hope it stays that way. I called Earl a few days ago and I am sure he called Dad right after he hung up the phone. I am going to try and call him atleast once a week. I am sure he is thrilled when anyone calls, especially someone from 8000 miles away. I have more pictues to post, just need to get them on to Facebook, so Shelly can transfer them over here. Will try and do that tomorrow. Talk to you guys later
Love
Jeff
