Bracelets and Tags are in!!!
Happy Monday to everyone! It was one heck of a day at work...even though the Full Moon isn't til Friday, I think that it is bringing out all of the weirdos and people that are testing our patience! With that said, I was definitely looking forward to getting home today! What a pleasant surprise to find that the bracelets and tags are in!!!! I am so happy with how they turned out...I cannot wait til all of you will be wearing yours as proudly as I am now! I will have to get to the store tomorrow to get some padded envelopes and get to the post office on Wednesday, but they will be in the mail and hopefully to most of you by the end of the week! I had another wonderful surprise in the mail as well. One of my closest friends and college roommates, Jessie, sent me a wonderful plaque that I cannot wait to hang up with a note from her and her husband, John, letting Jeff and I know that they are thinking about us. The saying is the new quote on the blog and says "American Soldiers do not fight because they hate what is in front of them, but because they love what is behind them." I know that we are what keeps Jeff going through not only his training now, but in the months to come as he deploys. So post your comments and thoughts on the blog for him and myself to read...they mean more than you guys will ever know. How lucky we are to have so many people to love and support us...thank you again to Jessie and John for reminding us of that. We love all of you!

I can't wait to see how the bracelets and dog tags turned out. I will wear it proudly. What an amazing quote your friend wrote and to have it put on a plaque is even more moving!! I and my family are so thankful to live in such an incrediable, amazing, free and STRONG country and becuz of people like Jeff that makes it possible makes us so proud that we truly are AMERICANS. Shelly you supporting your husband and beins strong everyday is just as amazing. Were so proud of BOTH of you...stay strong and we love you guys....LOVE moke, dawn and taylor
Dear Jeff and Shelly:
I just wanted to let you both know that I got my bracelets/dog tags and I love them ! Also, I wanted to say thanks to my "so-sweet and thoughtful son-in-law" for the Mother's Day card .... what a great surprise and so very much appreciated.
I wore my bracelet to Mass today and showed it off to my friend I usualy sit next to - she thought it was really wonderful too.
Anyway, I just wanted you both to know that I think about you both every day; I know that your love for one another and the love of your family and friends will give you both strength for the days and months ahead.
